Flora Bungalow

The Flora Bungalow project was a complete overhaul to the main level of an existing bungalow style home in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle. Completed in 2022, our improvements aimed to solve a confused floor floor plan that had many of the public/communal functions in opposite and separate parts of the home. Our solution consolidated these core ‘public’ programs (living, kitchen, dining) to the SW sun-filled corner of the home. A new primary bedroom w/ ensuite bath and closet was then added to the back while also leaving space for an office/guest room and powder. The existing lower basement was untouched and operates as an ADU that the clients utilized during construction. Existing upgraded windows were mostly salvaged, but new exterior siding and doors were the finishing touches to this remodel that the clients will enjoy for many years to come.
